These 8 images are omnipresent in every Delhi person’s life
A couple of years ago Delhi Hectic was conceived as a graphic novel with storyline and characters like every other book in its genre. Then the person who was supposed to illustrate for them had to shift cities. For a moment it seemed the project would end there, then came the idea of starting a graphic novel on social media with just photos and texts and since Instagram was already in vogue everything fell into place.
In the course of their project Aazar Anis and Arjun Jassal, childhood friends and the minds behind the project, have travelled nooks and corners of Delhi, finding stories in the most unexpected areas. The reason for the success of the project apart from its storytelling lies in the fact that the duo have been able to touch the emotional chord of the city’s population for who its simply their life reflected on their mobile screens. Since last year Aazar has moved to a career in advertising while Arjun has started his own digital agency that helps in content creation and market research. Their works can be found at blueant.in.
Now we will shut up and leave you with “The Omnipresent”, the photo essay they have done for us.
